IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA SMK

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are facts in the field that show students' mathematical communication skills are still relatively low. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an increase in the mathematical communication skills of students who take part in learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model compared to students who take part in conventional learning. By using a quasi-experimental method. Based on the results shows that the average n-gain value for the experimental class is 59.39%, which is in the quite effective category. With a minimum N-gain score of 42.11% and a maximum of 88.89%. The results showed that students' mathematical communication skills in the experimental group and control group increased. This shows that the TGT learning model is effective in improving vocational school students' mathematical communication skills.
