EKSPLORASI ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA MOTIF BATIK KHAS PANDEGLANG
Abstract
: This research aims to explore the mathematical concepts contained in typical Pandeglang batik motifs, namely the Leuit Salisung Pare Sapocong batik motif, the Kadu Sakangkot batik motif, and the Jojorong Sapasung batik motif. The approach used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive exploratory method. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with batik craftsmen, and documentation of the batik motifs. The research results show that there are various mathematical concepts reflected in these batik motifs, such as geometric concepts, geometric transformations, and the concept of congruence. The Leuit Salisung Pare Sapocong motif contains geometric concepts, namely regular pentagons, triangles and squares, there are also geometric transformation concepts, namely translation and the concept of congruence, the Kadu Sakang motif contains the geometric concepts of rhombuses and half circles, there are also geometric transformation concepts such as translation and reflection and concepts. congruence. The Jojorong Sapasung motif contains geometric concepts, namely, square, rectangle and cone, there is also the concept of geometric transformation, namely translation and reflection, there is also the concept of congruence.
