ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP PADA MATERI KUBUS DAN BALOK MENGGUNAKAN ALAT PERAGA DITINJAU BERDASARKAN KEMAMPUAN SPASIAL
Abstract
This research is a research analysis of Mathematics Problem Solving for Junior High School Students on Cube and Cuboid Material Using Props in terms of Spatial Ability. This study aims to analyze how the Process and Results of Student Problem Solving on the Cube and Cuboid material using teaching aids are reviewed based on the students' spatial ability at the junior high school level. This research was conducted using a qualitative method through 3 stages, namely: 1) Orientation Phase, which is the initial stage in guided inquiry learning which has an important role in stimulating the interest and curiosity of students in solving a problem (Runhaar, Sanders, & Yang, 2010) . 2) Exploration stage, is the stage of collecting data, the activities carried out have led to things that are considered to have a relationship with the focus of the problem. The information collected is no longer general in nature, but is more directed and structured and is still open. and 3) Member check stage, is the process of checking the data obtained by the researcher to the data provider.
