ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KELANCARAN PROSEDURAL MATEMATIS SISWA MTs MATHLA’UL ANWAR SUKARESMI PADA MATERI OPERASI ALJABAR
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze students' procedural fluency skills in algebraic operations material in class VII MTs Mathla`ul Anwar Sukaresmi. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative method. There are two instruments used in this study, namely the mathematical procedural fluency test and the interview guide. Based on the results of data analysis, the percentage of mathematical procedural fluency based on achievement indicators, it was found that students in the high group totaled 2 students, namely 83% in the high category. While the percentage of students' procedural mathematical fluency in the middle group, which amounted to 2 students, was 66.66% in the medium category and the percentage of students' procedural fluency in the low group, which consisted of 2 students, namely 4% in the very low category. The conclusion is that S1’s students have high mathematical procedural fluency because they meet all indicators of the 3 indicators, that is choosing and utilizing procedures, using procedures, modifying procedures, S2, S3, S4 Students only fulfill two of the 3 indicators of mathematical procedural fluency, namely choosing and utilizing procedures, using procedures, while S5 and S6 students did not fulfill all the indicators in this study
